Fueltrade is committed to providing clean, reliable, and affordable energy to all Ghanaians.

We are authorised to procure, store, and distribute petroleum products to qualified retailers and other large-scale end users. Our highly diversified product portfolio includes gasoil, gasoline, liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), jet, fuel oil and crude oil. Since its incorporation, Fueltrade has been a leading BDC in the country and the single leading supplier of LPG. The company is renowned for its safety practice, product quality, and timely delivery.

Global Trading

Fueltrade has partnered with some of the world’s leading international energy trading companies to supply petroleum products to the Ghanaian market. These include TotalEnergies, Glencore, Vitol, Mercuria, and Geogas Trading.

Strong Asset Base

Fueltrade has a strong asset base that it leverages to maintain market leadership. These include two state-of-the-art storage facilities, Tema Fuel Company (TFC) and Ghanstock, amounting to a total capacity of over 100,000 metric tonnes (MT).

Tema Fuel Company

Tema Fuel Company (TFC) is the operator of a petroleum products storage terminal Joint Venture between Fueltrade and HG Storage. Commissioned in 2013, the facility has a storage capacity of 84,000 metric tonnes (MT), with 40,000 MT diesel, 40,000 MT gasoline, and 4,000 MT Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG). The TFC tank farm is state-of-the-art and operates according to the highest international standards in terms of product quality and safety. TFC was the first privately owned industrial LPG storage and loading facility in Ghana. It is the depot of choice for key industry players including TotalEnergies, Shell, Goil, Allied, Engen, and Top Oil. Fueltrade constructed the first ship-to-BRV direct discharge facility at the Takoradi Port oil jetty to provide an alternative LPG discharge port to Tema. Ghanstock

Ghanstock is the operator of a petroleum products storage terminal Joint Venture between Fueltrade and TotalEnergies Marketing Limited. Commissioned in 2016, the diesel storage facility has a capacity of 20,000 MT, offering storage solutions to the Western Region, specifically the Mines, Oil Rigs, and supply vessels servicing the country’s growing oil production industry. Like TFC, Ghanstock operates according to the highest international standards in terms of product quality and safety. It has an advanced filtration system to guarantee only the highest quality product for mining operations and offshore rigs.
